About “GIB” Serial Numbered Documents

New Mandatory Regulation Begins October 1, 2025.
Private integrators and integration users will no longer be able to use document serial numbers starting with "GIB".
The Revenue Administration (GİB) implemented an important regulation based on its announcement dated August 27, 2025. Effective October 1, 2025, the use of document serial numbers starting with "GIB" is prohibited. Therefore, after this date, it will no longer be possible to process e-documents such as e-Invoices, e-Archive Invoices, e-Self-Employment Receipts, and e-Producer Receipts with serial numbers starting with "GIB."
According to the new regulation:
* E-documents using serial numbers starting with "GIB" will not be accepted by the systems as of October 1, 2025.
* To avoid interruptions and errors, new document serials must be defined in advance instead of "GIB."
* If you are not currently using a serial number starting with "GIB," this announcement will not affect you.

*The GIB unit code can only be used by portal users using the Revenue Administration system. Private integrators and integration users authorized by the Administration cannot use the GIB unit code.
